Join us for inspiring stories of Engineers as Leaders.
While a definition of the term leadership may prove elusive, historically great leaders are easily recognized. This is especially true in the military arena. Some engineers with great success both on and off of the battlefield include: James Eads, William Parsons and Leif Sverdrup. By drawing others to themselves, and reaching for a common goal, these men were able to achieve great success. It is also by an examination of the success of these men that several traits of great leaders emerge.
