Sixth Annual Fall PDH Days
Provides “Great Learning Experience”
Engineers from around the state of Missouri said MSPE’s 6th Annual Fall PDH Days on December 8 and 9, 2009 at the Capitol Plaza Hotel in Jefferson City was a “great learning experience.” The annual event is an economical opportunity for professional engineers to earn up to one-year’s worth of mandatory continuing competency units, 15 PDHs, for their State of Missouri professional engineering licensure renewal in just two days.
Attendees this year were asked to share added value and benefits they received from the Fall PDH Days event and commented positively on the networking opportunity, the diversity of programs, expanding their knowledge of all areas of engineering, learning about new technologies and project specific discussions that provided useful information.
This year’s speakers and topics included sessions on Morals, Ethics and Justice by Vaughn Prost, P.E.; Immediate Personal Supervision by Kevin C. Skibiski, P.E., P.L.S, Unified Communication Platform by Chris Cobb and Bob Gilbert, P.E.; Developing Leaders by Dr. Dianne Slattery, P.E., Understanding the Economy by William R. Emmons; Innovative Engineering Solutions by Wayne Ellenberger, P.E. and Jim Peterson, P.E.’ Smart Traffic Signals by Matt Myers, P.E., Water Quality at Missouri’s Lakes by Tony Thorpe, Missouri’s First Bio-Reactor by Steve Hunt, P.E.; Planning Economic Development by Randy Allen and the Taum Sauk Upper Reservoir Rebuild by Warren Witt.
Plans are underway to schedule the 7th Annual Fall PDH Days around the first part of December 2010. Watch your email and MSPE’s website to “Save the Date” for this annual event.
