Objective:
By monitoring licensing board activity and legislation, both in Missouri and around the nation, determine trends that may influence the current registration procedures or legislative amendment of the state law. Advise the Board of Directors and recommend MSPE actions.
Goals:
- Working with a joint committee of design professionals, develop appropriate revisions to RSMo Chapter 327, the state registration law.
- Conduct informative/explanatory question and answer sessions with MSPE’s local chapters about the proposed revisions.
- Work with the Government Relations Committee on determining the proper strategy to lobby for the revisions.
